Taekwondo Association of Odisha (TAO) came to life on 25th December 2000, with the mission to promote Taekwondo in the state of Odisha. However being an alien Art, it took time to win Odisha. Thanks to the spirit of struggle, today, TAO is a reaching force with 25 District bodies and all Odisha spread.

TAO is registered with IGR, Odisha, Cuttack under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It is affiliated to TFI, Luknow, which is the brain-child of Shri Jimmy R. Jagtiani, father of Taekwondo in India, a living legend, respected worldwide. He is the friend, philosopher and guide of TAO.

AO is governed by a vibrant body.
